Terms of use

Version 2.0 · Effective 13 October 2026 · Applies to WENS Browser 1.0.x (early access)

WENS is early-access software and its agent is an AI that can make mistakes. You are responsible for the tasks you give it and the actions you approve.

1. Agreement

1.1 These terms of use (“terms”) are an agreement between you and WENSLink Private Limited (CIN U80900AS2019PTC019435), registered office MAA Commercial Complex, Third Floor, NH-15, Bechimari, Dist. Darrang, Assam 784514, India (“we”, “us”). They apply to WENS Browser version 1.0.x (“WENS”), to the downloads we provide, and to this site at wenslink.com/WENS.

1.2 By downloading, installing or using WENS, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not download, install or use WENS.

1.3 These terms are an electronic record under India’s Information Technology Act, 2000, and need no physical or digital signature. Our privacy policy explains how data is handled and forms part of these terms for that purpose.

2. Words we use

3. Who may use WENS

3.1 You must be able to form a binding contract under the law that applies to you. If you are under 18, you may use WENS only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who is then bound by these terms for you.

3.2 If you use WENS for a business or an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.

3.3 You may not use WENS if you are barred from doing so by law, or if we have ended your licence.

4. Licence

4.1 We give you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install and use WENS on devices that you own or control, for lawful purposes, under these terms.

4.2 WENS includes third-party open-source components. They stay under their own licences, which apply to those components instead of these terms.

4.3 All rights that we do not expressly give you are reserved.

5. What you may not do with WENS itself

5.1 You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense or redistribute WENS or any part of it, or make it available as a service to others.

5.2 You may not remove or hide our notices, or use our name, logo or the name WENS in a way that suggests that we endorse you or your product.

5.3 You may not copy, modify or create derivative works of WENS, or decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer it, except to the extent that the law allows despite this term or a component’s open-source licence allows.

5.4 You may not interfere with how WENS checks updates, verifies installers or protects itself, or disable its safety checks in order to cause harm.

6. Early access

6.1 WENS is an early version. Features may change, break or be removed. We may change, suspend or stop WENS, the update feed, the relay and the downloads, or any part of them, at any time and without notice, with or without a reason.

6.2 The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows may show a warning when you run it. Use the SHA-256 checksum on the download page to confirm that the file you have is the file we published, before you run it. Download WENS only from wenslink.com.

6.3 Because WENS is early access, it can contain faults that cause data loss, wrong results or crashes. Keep your own backups of anything important.

7. Your device and software

7.1 You are responsible for your device, your internet connection, your Windows account and any other software that WENS relies on, such as a web browser installed on your PC, and for any charges your internet provider makes.

7.2 WENS may not work on every device or version of Windows. Features may depend on software that is installed on your PC.

8. The agent and your responsibility

8.1 The agent is an AI. It can misread pages, misunderstand your task, invent facts and make mistakes, including mistakes that cost money or time or that cannot be undone.

8.2 You are responsible for the tasks you give the agent and for every action you approve. When you approve an action, it is done on your behalf and under your authority.

8.3 The agent may stop, refuse or ask you to take over, for example at a bot check, a login or a payment. That is part of how WENS is designed and does not mean that something is broken.

9. Websites, accounts and automation

9.1 When the agent works on a website, it acts as you. You are responsible for following that website’s terms, policies and rules about automation, and for the actions taken on your accounts.

9.2 Some websites forbid automated use or limit it. Using WENS on such a website may lead the website to limit or close your account. We are not responsible for that.

9.3 If you connect one of your signed-in tabs to a task, you accept that the agent can read and act in that tab for that task, and that what it reads is processed by the AI provider you chose. Do not connect a tab that holds content that you are not allowed to share with that provider.

10. Acceptable use

10.1 You agree not to use WENS to:

10.2 We may stop or limit your use of WENS if we reasonably believe that you break this section.

11. Sharing your browser

11.1 You may share your browser with a guest only with the guest’s agreement, and only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for what the guest can see and do in the browser while you share, and for any information of other people that is visible.

11.2 If you join a share as a guest, you must use what you see only for the purpose for which you were invited, and you must not record or keep it unless the host agrees.

11.3 The relay and any relay server for connection are provided as is. We may limit, change or stop them at any time. Sharing can fail, for example because of your network.

12. Secure tabs

12.1 Secure tabs are an additional safety measure and not a guarantee. The site in a Secure tab is not under our control. You are responsible for what you do in it.

13. Third-party services and AI providers

13.1 WENS can connect to third-party services, including AI providers (such as Groq, Google and OpenRouter), search engines, the Chrome Web Store, Hugging Face, GitHub and the websites you visit. You use them with your own accounts and keys, under their terms and privacy policies. Any fee, limit, quota or rule is between you and them.

13.2 We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, for what they do with your data, for their availability, or for the output of an AI model. Output from an AI provider can be wrong, incomplete, offensive or unsuitable.

13.3 Keep your API keys private. You are responsible for the use of your keys, and for any cost that arises from them.

14. Downloads and files

14.1 Files that you download or attach come from you or from third parties. We do not check them for you, and we are not responsible for them. WENS does not open or run a downloaded file for you; what you do with it is your decision and your risk.

14.2 Scan files with security software before you open them. Do not open files from sources that you do not trust.

15. Updates

15.1 WENS tells you when a new version is available. An update is installed only when you choose it. Some fixes, including security fixes, are only in new versions, so we recommend that you keep WENS up to date.

15.2 We may stop supporting an older version. An update may change or remove features.

16. Ownership

16.1 WENS, its name, its logo, its design and its code are owned by WENSLink Private Limited or its licensors, and are protected by law. These terms give you no rights in them other than the licence in section 4.

16.2 You keep ownership of the content you create and of the tasks you write. You give us no licence to your content, because WENS keeps it on your PC; if you send us content, for example in an email, you allow us to use it to answer you and to improve WENS.

17. Feedback

17.1 If you give us ideas, suggestions or feedback about WENS, we may use them without payment or restriction and without crediting you, but we will not publish your name or private data without your permission.

18. Privacy

18.1 How we handle information is described in our privacy policy. In short, WENS keeps your browsing data on your PC, sends your tasks only to the AI provider you choose, and does not include analytics.

19. No warranty

19.1 To the fullest extent that the law allows, WENS is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that it will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, compatible with your devices or websites, free of harmful components, or fit for a particular purpose, and any warranty of merchantability or non-infringement.

19.2 We do not promise that the agent’s results will be accurate, complete or suitable, or that a task will finish, or that a website will allow it.

19.3 Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that the law does not allow us to exclude.

20. Limit of liability

20.1 To the fullest extent that the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, business, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with WENS, including loss that comes from the agent’s mistakes, from actions that you approved, from third-party services, from a shared browser, or from a fault in WENS.

20.2 WENS is free. Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with WENS or these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for WENS (which is nothing) and INR 1,000.

20.3 Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for wilful wrong.

21. Your responsibility for claims

21.1 To the extent that the law allows, you agree to reimburse us for losses, claims and costs, including reasonable legal costs, that arise from your breach of these terms or from your unlawful use of WENS, including any task you gave the agent or any action you approved. We will tell you of a claim promptly, and we will let you take reasonable part in dealing with it.

22. Suspension and ending

22.1 You can stop using WENS at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence at any time if you break these terms, if the law requires, or if we stop WENS.

22.2 When your licence ends, you must stop using WENS and delete your copies of the installer. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, no warranty, limit of liability, your responsibility for claims and governing law, continue after the licence ends.

23. Notices and grievances

23.1 We may give you notice by posting it on this site, in WENS, or by email if you have written to us. You may give us notice by email to info@wenslink.com or by post to our registered office.

23.2 If you have a complaint about WENS or about content or conduct that relates to it, write to info@wenslink.com with the subject “Grievance” and describe the problem. We will acknowledge and reply within a reasonable time, and in any case within the time that the law requires.

24. Governing law and disputes

24.1 These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to rules about conflicts of laws.

24.2 The courts of competent jurisdiction in Assam, India, will decide disputes that arise out of or in connection with these terms, subject to any rights you have under the law that apply to you and that cannot be waived.

24.3 Before you start a legal action, please write to us at info@wenslink.com and give us a fair chance to resolve the matter.

25. General

25.1 Entire agreement. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about WENS, and replace earlier versions of them.

25.2 Severability. If a part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

25.3 No waiver. If we do not enforce a right at once, we do not give it up.

25.4 Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to a successor of our business.

25.5 Events beyond our control. We are not liable for failure or delay that is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including failures of the internet, of hosting, of third-party services, or of power.

25.6 Language. These terms are written in English. If a translation differs from the English text, the English text applies.

25.7 Headings. Headings are for convenience and do not affect meaning.

26. Changes to these terms

26.1 We may change these terms. We will update this page and its date, and a new version applies from the release that carries it. If you keep using WENS after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, stop using WENS.
